The Role

The job of an Inbound Sales Executive is hard work but has the potential to be incredibly rewarding. You will have the opportunity to work with local people and businesses in the area to advertise there services and products in our titles.

This is a different sales job to most you will have seen before, working within a driven and successful advertising team. From your first day, you will be building your knowledge of your customers in order to create a solution to help them advertise in the relevant titles. As you develop yourself as an expert offering help and advise to the incoming sales generated by the advertising team and capitalising on any areas of up selling. The role involves a focus on customer care sometimes lending a compassionate ear when dealing with announcements and death notices the right person for this role must be detail driven and would be an advantage if held an administration role previously. You will also be expected to cover the front desk and ask as a first point of contact to any one coming into the business so must be professional and approachable.

We need you to have???.

Due to the nature of the role you need to be enthusiastic, driven and value building good client relationships. Previous experience in sales is an advantage but not essential. Must feel comfortable with up selling in relation to the responsibilities and time management necessary.

• Previous sales / B2B sales/Telesales transferable into the role, or experience of working within a sales / telesales environment / customer service/call centre or retail environment with cross/up-selling will be considered.
• Professional and competent client services skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and committed to delivery and performance.
• Ability to take ownership and embrace new technologies
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook)
• Good time management & attention to detail - being able adapt and prioritise is essential
• Strong self-motivation with a proactive mentality and a will to succeed
