Business Development Manager
My client is a leading engineering recruitment consultancy who have been established for over 20 years. The are apart of a GBP70 Million pound turnover group.
There clients include major UK Energy and Utilities Companies. My Client specialise in supplying safety critical, contract and permanent staff to our clients along with other services including training and workforce management.
The Role
They are looking for a Business Development Manager with desire and passion, who share our vision to succeed and join a experienced team based in Milton Keynes. Working with the Head of Energy to be leading and developing the sales strategy and new business direction of the company.
You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities and continually developing the existing solutions to meet client and industry requirements. You will need to have very strong sales skills, excellent presentation skills and proven experience working on tenders. You will need to be an excellent problem solver, professional and with the ability to learn quickly. You will be monitored and measured on your ability to arrange, find and create new business opportunities, arrange client meetings, progress sales through the pipeline and develop strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Day-to-day activities typically involve:
* Working with new and existing clients to understand their problems and generating solutions.
* Contacting clients by telephone and email to generate new business leads and opportunities.
* Arranging and attending new business meetings.Managing your pipeline, researching and finding opportunities within the energy markets.
* Managing tender opportunities, writing and presenting sales pitches.
* Managing the sales process to ensure compliance and working closely with resource team to deliver to meet your clients' and contracts' needs.
* Finding new ways to generate sales and opportunities for the business, including setting up and attending conferences, trade shows and industry events.
* Overseeing the administration of your client's business and accounts in conjunction with the account managers and resource team as well as our administrative support function.
* Working towards monthly and quarterly targets and KPI's
The Package
* Salary negotiable depending on experience.
* Monthly commission structure, uncapped.
