Inventory Stock and Returns Manager | Tilbury, Essex | GBP35,000 + Benefits
This newly created role is key to ensuring the success of the operation achieving and exceeding its KPI's; You will be expected to be main point of contact for both clients and customers within the parameters of Inventory and the Returns functions.
Key Role Responsibilities:
* To manage the teams and give clear direction on what is required.
* To ensure each team has correct staffing levels and that they are trained sufficiently to cover this role with a clear succession plan in place to cover all eventualities.
* To work with the operation ensuring all current service levels are met or exceeded.
* To ensure stock levels are maintained and any stock queries are dealt with in an acceptable timeframe.
* To carry out agreed annual stock takes as per client specific agreements.
* Conduct team briefing, one to one, and employee forums
* Ensure the site meets legal compliance at all times
* Encourage continuous improvement to become part of operational daily activity
* Promote a culture where Health and Safety is part of our daily activities
* Communicate effectively to internal and external customers
Knowledge and Experience required:
Computer literate, competent user of all Microsoft Office applications, familiar with warehouse management systems, understandthe legal implications for Health & Safety on site and has awareness of appropriate HR policies, IOSH experience. You'll have experience of working with computerised scanning equipment (RFID) for put away and pick roles and ideally you'll have previously worked within a chilled food picking environment or other Fast Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) environment
