Manufacturing Process Technician - Weekends
3 Month Contract (May extend) - Saturdays and Sundays
Are you an enthusiastic, self-motivated individual? Eager to learn new skills within an engineering / manufacturing environment ? Keen to progress quickly ?
A global leading design & manufacturing company in Surrey are now looking for technicians / trainee technicians to work within the manufacturing department
Full training provided
Roles & Responsibilities:
+ Follow work instructions and basic engineering drawings to assemble products within the manufacturing department
+ Carry out visual inspection against products whilst adhering to high quality standards
+ Support quality control methods and actions within the company and liaise with different departments within the company
+ Ensure all Health & Safety requirements are maintained and followed
Person:
+ Good numeracy and literacy skills
+ Self-starter with the drive and initiative to improve themselves and their team
+ Capable of thriving under pressure
Desirable skills:
+ Basic manufacturing process skills
+ Previous manufacturing operations / Laboratory Technician experience , eg solution-making , small batch making , etc
+ Experience of working in controlled areas, eg GMP , clean room
+ Previous quality control measurement and reporting experience
