The Next Step Automotive Recruitment are currently seeking to recruit an Automotive Workshop Controller on behalf of our client, a well-known local Dealership Group for their Cambridge business.
Workshop Controller - What we are looking for -
My client represents a highly recognisable, forward-thinking brand and a rare opportunity has arisen to join their Aftersales team as a Workshop Controller.
You should be highly organised and with a very level head.
You'll be an exceptional people person with great leadership skills
The department is very busy, you'll know how to get the best out your team
Your hands-on technical experience will ensure the workshop runs efficiently
Workshop Controller - Responsibilities -
Controlling the day-to-day activities of a team of workshop Technicians
Ensuring deadlines and targets are met
Driving productivity and workshop efficiency
Interacting with the Service Manager and covering additional duties as required
Liaising with other departments
Conversing with customers as required
Ensuring job cards are completed fully and accurately
Workshop Controller - Requirements -
Passion for the Automotive industry
A stable career profile with experience in a similar role
Experience of DMS or CRM systems such as Kerridge, Power or Pinnacle
