Our client in Corby is looking for a Machine Operator to join their busy team on a permanent basis.

Shifts are 06.00 - 14.00 / 14.00 - 22.00 rotating.
The role includes the following duties;
• Operate speciality machinery to manufacture products as instructed.
• To operate machinery according to instruction to maintain efficient functionality
• Conduct quality checks periodically as required.
• Verify adequate materials and supplies are available to complete operations as needed.
• Analyse machine operations and output if applicable.
• Adjust machine as needed for changeovers, different functions, or other varying needs of production.
• Attend regular briefings to remain informed of the day's targets, previous day's results and any future news.
• To ensure teams adhere to all Company processes, procedures, policies and standards and report any short comings.
• Maintain effective working relationships.
• To minimise wastage by maintaining productivity and quality.
• To maintain and improve housekeeping standards.
• To contribute to the overall success of the team and the Company goals by maintaining regular attendance, punctuality, focus and professionalism at all times.
• To ensure that work is completed in a safe manner, in line with the safety policy and report any health and safety issues to management.
• Perform all other duties as reasonably required that are consistent with both training and experience.
You will need to be a team player and have experience in a fast-moving production environment (Preferably chilled foods). Good communication skills and a clear understanding of Health and Safety is also required.
