Head of IT Service Delivery

Salary: £83,250 - £90,000 per annum

Location: Croydon

Hello, we’re the Pension Protection Fund. We protect the futures of millions of people in the UK who belong to defined benefit pension schemes. Our members rely on us to look after their pensions if their employers go bust and the pension schemes cannot afford to pay what they promised.

We’re looking for a Head of IT Service Delivery to join our team.

The Head of IT Service Delivery will be responsible for managing all Service Management for the PPF. This is a vital position in the organisation and you will combine technical and leadership expertise. Typical responsibilities include driving stakeholder relationships to improve and protect service levels, owning relationships with internal and external suppliers, providing inspirational leadership to the team and managing complex process change whilst demonstrating accountability and value for money for the PPF.

We require an IT professional with proven success leading an ITIL Service Management framework and diverse teams. It is expected interested applicants will have owned and succeeded with complex supplier relationships, strong exposure to service governance and business change, ITIL processes, security and release management and budgetary control for ongoing IT infrastructure projects.

The position provides an opportunity to greatly influence PPF’s strategic direction within our transforming technology and change function and to deliver an exceptional service that is fit for purpose. We can also offer you the chance to cement existing skills as well as learn new skills in a dynamic environment within a rapidly growing financial services organisation.
