Retail and Stockroom Assistant

Our client is a charitable institution that helps animals to find a home. They are looking for an experienced Retail and Stockroom Assistant to join their team for 4 weeks, paying GBP10.55 per hour.
The organization is looking for a flexible, professional staff with excellent interpersonal skills and commercial awareness to work 35 hours per week for 4 weeks. You will be engaging with customers, being responsive to their queries and finalizing their purchases. Plus, you will need to complete general shop floor retail tasks such as pricing stock, tidying and organising the shop floor and stockroom, collecting and checking in deliveries, packaging up online orders and other similar tasks.
We are particularly looking for candidates who are responsible and good at prioritising as they will be mainly working alone.
Key requirements:
* Recent retail experience focused on providing excellent customer service.
* Cash handling experience.
* Previous experience working within a commercial retail environment or museums/public attractions would be an advantage.
* Stock Room experience
