Description

Having been established in 1952, HorseWorld Trust is a registered charity that is committed to rescuing, rehabilitating and re-homing horses, ponies and donkeys that have been abandoned, neglected or ill-treated.  We have a beautifully tranquil farm that is located between Bristol and Bath and are today responsible for over 300 equines, including over 100 on-site.

We also run a ground-breaking educational programme called Discovery which supports emotional growth and learning in young people through hands-on experience with our rescued horses and ponies.

We have a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong communication skills and a keen interest in digital and social media to raise the profile and awareness of HorseWorld and help grow our supporter base.

The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and previous experience of using digital technology and social media to engage the public.  A pro-active approach is essential, along with the ability to meet deadlines and empathy for the work of the charity.
