A pipe fitters mate is required to join an expanding team of pipefitters. You will be working as part of a team who specialise in pipe fitting. The role would be based in Wolverhampton but working on sites around the country. Occasional working away from home may be required.
THE JOB ROLE
* Assisting with the fabrication of mechanical piping systems
* Fusing them together by the precision of cutting, threading, grooving, bending and welding
* The installation of mechanical piping systems for commercial and domestic customers within the West Midlands and other locations around the UK
* Carrying out repairs and maintenance on the piping systems for jobs raised by the customers
??Working closely with experienced pipe fitters
EXPERIENCE / REQUIREMENTS
??A team player.
??Able to work on own initiative to resolve problems effectively.
??Some experience working with pipework or welding would be beneficial.
??Adaptable and flexible to cope with the variety of responsibilities involved.
??Good communication skills (written and verbal).
