We're looking for a seasoned blue-collar recruiter who will relish the opportunity to come into our business and make their mark on our Talent Acquisition function. From writing an inspiring job advert to closing a candidate, you know what it takes to get the right person into the right job and the difference a great hire, made in a timely way, can make to business performance.
You'll be someone who enjoys a busy workload and knows how to prioritise based on what your stakeholders, both internal and external, need from you. Being organised and an excellent communicator is an absolute MUST as you could have up to 20 - 30 open blue-collar roles at any one time.
You aren't afraid to push back and educate managers on their hiring process and methods, but you'll have built credibility and will have a proven track record, so they have confidence in you when you do this. Taking accountability and responsibility for your own performance is something you automatically do knowing that the buck stops with you.
You'll be accountable for many things including:
* Deliver the day-to-day running of end-to-end blue-collar recruitment
* Advise managers on the most effective methods to find their hire
* Build our online presence by posting on multiple social platforms
* Own the Driver and Engineering recruitment process
* Build talent pipelines for difficult to fill roles
* Ability to travel between our bus depots
Experience
* Ability to deliver across the Talent Acquisition spectrum
* Ability to build strong blue-collar pipelines
* Evidence of finding talent across geographic boundaries
* Experienced in delivering and organising assessment centres
* Ability to 'think outside the box' balancing best-practices
* Strong work ethic, results oriented, self-motivated and energetic
* Strong commercial awareness and ability to meet business needs
* Strong facilitation, consulting, communication and influencing skills
