An Electronic Service Engineer is needed for a well-established engineering company in the Southampton area will your job will to respond to any faults or maintenance requests as well as be deployed to install new systems in and outside of the UK
The Engineer will develop a good working knowledge of all different systems and the results that should be expected. They will bring in specialists where required.
Key responsibilities include:
- On-PCB fault-finding locally on new products as well as at customer sites (remote login and on-site)
- Installation and servicing of systems on customer sites
- Interpretation of system results
- Electrical and mechanical assembly
- Testing and repair from System level down to PCB and mechanical component level
- Marking up existing drawings for modification
- Writing/recording/issuing visit reports
