Role Profile

Our West Midlands based client is looking for an Interim Procurement Officer to work on an exciting 3 month project, following a new site development

Key areas of responsibility will include:

* Reviewing existing contracts and supplier base

* Negotiating contractual terms for complex service contracts

* Identifying opportunities for synergies and cost savings

* Ensuring continuity of supply at all times during the integration

Skills and Experience

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

* At least 2 years' experience in a procurement role i

* Proven track record negotiating contractual terms for complex contracts and long-term agreements

* Previous experience managing procurement categories such as Maintenance, Facilities Management, Site Services or Professional Services

* Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence to present to internal and external stakeholders

* CIPS qualification

* Willingness to undertake occasional business travel within the UK
