Payroll Administrator

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Partners are recruiting an experienced Payroll Administrator for a business based in North Sheffield

THE JOB:

The main purpose of the role is to assist with the smooth running of payroll: Duties will include:

Processsing weekly payroll - 4 weekly
Ensuring accuracy of payroll and employee records
Processing all holiday requests and keep accurate records of all holidays taken
Keeping accurate timekeeping and absence records and provide this information to the HR team on a weekly basis
Summarising hours worked by from clocking card, timesheets and the Time and Absence system and processing the information
Processing holiday, sick and maternity/paternity pay
Accurately maintaining and updating employee records
Updating and maintaining the Time and Attendance system as required for payroll purposes
Dealing with all queries
To provide administrative support for all payroll matters
Other ad hoc duties as required

THE PERSON:

Previous experience is essential
Working knowledge of Sage payroll is essential
Knowledge of payroll legislation/HMRC requirements is essential
The ability to work to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential
You must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Excellent IT skills are essential including good working knowledge of Excel
