Cornwall Wildlife Trust is the leading conservation membership charity in Cornwall. We work with one and all to create a wilder Cornwall with people close to nature, and with land, rivers and seas rich in wildlife.
 
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Head of People and Engagement to join our Senior Management team to help deliver a Wilder Cornwall.  The role will take the lead on Communications, Marketing, Membership, Fundraising, HR, Health and Safety, Volunteering, and Stakeholder Relationships. 
 
You will be tasked with raising the profile of our Trust and our work, encouraging more people in Cornwall to connect and take positive action for wildlife through excellent communications, engagement and marketing.
 
You will work to develop effective relationships with stakeholders and delivery partners across the region, using our expertise to inform and influence decisions which secure the recovery and growth of wildlife.  You will also ensure that we attract and retain staff, trustees, volunteers, groups and members with the values to deliver a wilder Cornwall.
 
We are looking for an inspirational leader who has previous experience of developing strategy and delivering measurable results through others. Knowledge and experience in all of the functions you will be leading is not essential. A natural communicator, you will have the ability to influence and enthuse a broad range of staff, trustees, members and stakeholders.
 
You will have the confidence to develop trusted partnerships with a range of people from the business sector, voluntary sector, government and other external groups.  Sound knowledge and understanding of environmental issues is desirable, as is working knowledge of charitable governance.
