Part of a global aviation group we are an OEM-certified engineering company dedicated to providing maintenance, repair and overhaul services for small gas turbine and turbofan engines used in aviation. Our authorisations cover the majority of turbine engine models powering fixed and rotary wing aircraft used for business aviation, and many of the engines used in government, military and commercial applications.

The role of the Stores / Materials Operative is to ensure correct procedures are carried out in the storage and issue of materials

Main Responsibilities:

+ Receive materials into the stores and batch on to the computer system
+ Issue materials in line with agreed procedure in order to meet production and customer requirements
+ Store all materials in secure stores in accordance with agreed procedures/airworthiness requirements
+ Maintain accurate stock records on the system by carrying out regular stock control as required
+ Raise orders for sub contract vendors
+ Ensure stores are kept clean/ tidy at all times and Health, Safety and Environmental regulations are adhered to
+ Pass all invoices received to the Materials Team Leader
+ Ensure stock location and stock rotation procedures are adhered to
+ File and store all Aircraft Release documentation received with parts in accordance with Aviation Regulations
+ Adhere to Health and Safety and environmental requirements and regulations
+ Adhere to the Company Information and Protection Policy (IPP)
+ Comply with statutory requirements and regulations and Company requirements
+ Carry out any other reasonable request within current competence level
+ Assist in the training of team members
+ Any other duties that may reasonably be requested by the management team

Stores / Materials Operative Knowledge, Skills and Experience

+ Experience within a stores environment
+ Working knowledge of stock control systems
+ Computer literate
