Financial Accountant (Inside IR35)

We are currently creating PIPELINES for Accountants for roles that we will be recruiting for across several Government Organisations and Contracting Authorities in the coming weeks / months.

As Financial Accountant you will:

  • Produce monthly and quarterly claims, and annual accounts in addition to perform all other work associated with these claims and accounts.
  • Ensure the timeliness, quality and security of data by application of procedures and controls.
  • Provide information and explanations as required for audit.

You'll have:

  • Regular use of data analysis, numeracy and excellent working knowledge of MS Excel.
  • Previous experience in production of reports within regulatory rules and deadlines.
  • Ability to collaborate across business areas to co-ordinate, prepare and reports.
  • Experience in presentation of complex, technical issues to auditors and non-specialists.

It would be great to also have:

  • Experience of financial systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics.
  • Experience of financial reporting within a European regulatory environment and, or government office.
