Fantastic opportunity for an LCMS Scientist to join an ambitious and forward thinking spin out company in Scotland!
In this new and exciting role, you will be joining a growing team focusing on quantitative proteomics and be involved in all the stages from novel method development, optimisation, sample preparation as well as analysis and interpretation of quantitative proteomics data.
The lab is well-equipped with state-of-the-art instrumentation, giving you the opportunity to work with high resolution LCMS/MS systems. Other duties will include liaising with pharma and biotech clients and assist with experimental design.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- A PhD in Chemistry (or related subject) + 2 years' Post-Doc experience
- Experienced in development and validation of mass spectrometry methods for the quantification of proteins
- Previous experience in writing papers and presenting their work to scientific peers and/or stakeholders
- Skilled in data analysis, bioinformatics and strong IT skills
