Our client is one of the largest locally based housing organisations in the East Midlands. Rotas - doesn’t sound very appealing does it? But actually…

Helping to coordinate the rotas for their Personalised Support Team North colleagues is just one aspect of the role. The Personalised Support Team North offers a range of community based support to service users across Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire, so as an Assistant Rota Coordinator you are helping to organise the delivery of social care and support. You will be responsible for providing an effective and comprehensive administration service to support the work of the PST Team, including processing invoices, producing reports as needed, providing a reception service – as you can see, the role is varied!

I don’t want to work night shifts!

Don’t worry, you won’t have to! The hours of work for this post are full time, which is 37 hours per week, usually worked within office hours Monday to Friday, however some flexibility is required.

I haven’t got any experience…

Whilst knowledge of electronic rostering systems would definitely be an advantage to this role, as would the ability to manage multiple applications, they do provide full training so don’t be put off from applying if you haven’t got the relevant experience.
You will need to demonstrate excellent I.T, administration, communication and organisation skills and be quality focused. The ability to be flexible and reliable is essential in order to respond to the needs of the service. Excellent time management skills, the ability to prioritise a heavy workload and work effectively in a pressurised environment are also essential.

What will I get in return?

As well as a great benefits package and flexible family friendly working policies, they are committed to the career progression of colleagues so on-going training is provided, as well as opportunities to progress within the organisation.

Benefits include:

  • Circa 36.5 days leave a year with additional 2 days after 5 years service
  • Healthcare Cash Back Plan worth up to £1200 per year on your routine healthcare costs e.g. Dentist, opticians etc.
