Salary - GBP35,000 - GBP38,000
Benefits - 25 days hols + bank hols + pension
Award winning manufacturer who are continuing to expand require an experienced training and development manager with a strong background and experience of staff training and development including planning, directing and coordinating programs to enhance knowledge and skillset of employees to meet the requirements of the business.
As Training and Development Manager you will;
• Oversee staff training and development
• Plan, direct and co-ordinate programs to enhance the knowledge and skillset of employees in line with the business requirements
• Devise strategic training and development plans to ensure employees are completing the correct activities in line with their current roles
• Regularly assess skills matrices as well as training records for all other areas of the business to support a skills gap analysis
• Build strategic training and development plans to future proof the company, with particular focus on cross training
• Ensure staff are fully trained to the required quality standards and internal training standards, and ensure refresher training is carried out o agreed timescales
Qualifications
• Previous experience working in advising and coaching management and employees
• Well educated ideally to degree level or above
• Good understanding of business and functions of employee roles
• Strong administration skills
• Experience advising and coaching management and employees
• Strong communication skills working across all levels and areas of business
• Approachable and able to build relationships at all levels of the business
• Credibility and gravitas to advise and persuade management and employees
