Do you have HR Management of Advisor experience? Have you got or are you currently working towards achieving your Level 5 CIPD? Can you ensure legal compliance with employment law and maintain HR policies and procedures? Yes, then this maybe the opportunity you have been looking for.
Our client has been operating for over 50 years and are looking for an experienced HR Manager/Advisor to join their team for a 3 month assignment, with the possibility for this to be extended.
You will need to have a Degree in HR or Business Studies CIPD Level 5 or above. However, if you are currently studying and due to finish your level 5 accreditation shortly, this will be considered.
Key areas of responsibility will include:
* Lead talent management process ensuring all key roles have agreed succession plans
* Promote Health & Safety in the workplace and challenging others when unsafe behaviour is observed
* Review organisational design of the business and make recommendations for improvements. This may involve supporting any relocation's, redeployment's or redundancies as required
* Support disciplinary, grievance and performance management processes. This will involve protected conversations, compromise agreements. providing guidance and managing associated risks
* Manage the monthly payroll process, operating as the point of contact for all queries and key contact for the outsourced payroll bureau
* Ensure all positions vacant in the company have current job descriptions and the correct Terms and Conditions in place
* Manage long term sickness including Occupational health referrals and ill health dismissals
