Based in the borough of Hounslow, a specialist SEN School is looking to recruit a SEN Teacher / Class Teacher ahead of September 2019.

The school provides a wonderful, positive, low arousal, yet fun learning space for students aged 7-16 years of age. As part of the school's continued success they are now in the process of searching for a Primary Class Teacher for a September 2019 start.

The class sizes here are small, with typically less than six pupils per class, as each class is designed with the pupil's specific needs in mind. There is also a great Teacher and Teaching Assistant to pupil ratio.

If you are a Primary SEN Teacher, ideally with prior experience of teaching pupils with SENs and you have a great work ethic, combined with a sense of fun, this school would be the ideal place for you to further develop your SEN teaching career.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• SEN Teacher - Previous SEN Teaching experience required
• KS2 (7-11 year olds) SEN Teaching Position
• TLRs available: Subject or Year Group Lead
• Delivering creative and engaging lessons throughout
• September 2019 start - Permanent - Full Time
• Outer London MPS2-UPS3 - GBP29,307 - GBP43,348 +SEN Allowance up to GBP4,242 +Possible TLR (Size DoE)
• Located in the Borough of Hounslow (Brentford area)

PERSON SPECIFICATION

• MUST HAVE UK QTS
• Good understanding of the SEN curriculum & teaching standards
• Must be looking to develop as a SEN Class Teacher
• Team player with a sense of fun and committed to achieving high standard at all times
