Structural Engineer

Varied projects - multi disciplined design team requires valued input of design engineers. Provide technical management on projects ranging from GBP20,000 to GBP2,000,000 in value.

Work closely with clients to provide structural design solutions for large high-performance doors.
BEng + Civil and Structural Engineering.

Key Responsibilities
* Work closely with clients and architects on construction plans to provide structural design solutions for the support of large high-performance doors.
* Provide technical management for specific contracts from order receipt to installation
* Take responsibility for projects ranging from GBP20,000 to GBP2,000,000 in value
* Liaise with internal team, customers and suppliers

Candidate requirements
* BEng/MEng Civil and Structural Engineering
* Strong working knowledge of the construction industry and designing products into buildings
* Willingness to learn new engineering fields such as fire engineering, acoustics, thermal insulation technologies and their application to doors within buildings
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with experience of contractor and budget management
