Internal Sales Engineer

Inspire Resourcing are delighted to be recruiting an Internal Sales Engineer for this well established company based in Dronfield.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals with previous technical sales experience, with excellent customer service skills.

Your main duties will be:

* Manage quoting process from enquiry to order acceptance through our global CRM system

* Source and generate new sales opportunities and orders through inbound lead consulting and outbound prospecting activities.

* Support the Regional Sales Teams in developing our relationships with Channel Partners and End Customers.

* Act as the day to day contact for all sales Channels within a defined region.

* Provide quotations and application support.

* Proactive pipeline management and chasing of opportunities.

* Implement the discount approval process at quotation stage in conjunction with the Regional Sales Team - in line with the Company's DLA structure.

* Support the Regional Sales Team on maintenance of representative and distributor contracts.

* Work with sales channels to gather Point of Sale data as well as recording any customer feedback

* Work alongside Regional Sales Team / Inside Sales Manager to identify channel partner training needs and facilitate courses as required.

* Provide valued support to Channel Partners by promptly replying to their needs, providing guidance and ensuring a strong drive to results.

* Ensure end customers are supported by our Channel Partners to establish a collaborative and "customer-first" relationship.

* Provide technical and general office assistance

Positon Requirements

* • Relevant technical qualification in suitable discipline (significant experience considered in lieu).

* 3-5 years' experience in Customer Service / Sales environment.

* Strong commercial/business acumen.

* Good problem-solving skills

* Communication, influencing and assertiveness.

* High level of work ethics and customer satisfaction commitment. Must be passionate about meeting customer requirements.

* Outstanding customer service and relationship building.

* Understanding of sales and operations.

* Excellent computer skills - Microsoft Office to include Word and Excel. SAP/CRM knowledge desirable.
