The WaterAid IT team are responsible for the development and support of the IT infrastructure and application services running in WaterAid UK. We have direct responsibility for the 250+ staff working in the UK and provide services and support for WaterAid staff across 22 countries.

Job Description

Reporting to the Senior Infrastructure Engineer this role will be responsible for supporting the roll out of infrastructure changes in Country Programme offices required for GDPR compliance.

The Project Infrastructure Engineer will:

• Co-ordinate and implement the migration of on premises file servers to Office 365 cloud platforms.

• Implement the networking changes required to connect Country Programme offices to the WaterAid Azure platform.

• Liaise with Country programme staff to prepare and add office laptops to the WaterAid UK Active Directory for centralised management.

Person Specification

To be successful, you'll need:

• Proven experience with administration of Active Directory & Group Policy.

• Proven experience with administration of Office 365, specifically OneDrive and Sharepoint Online.

• Ability to build professional relationships with people from a variety of backgrounds and cultures.

• Excellent communication skills, being able to explain high-level technical concepts to staff of varying technical ability.

• Well organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work in a complex and pressurised environment effectively.
