This dedicated resource (which few of our competitors can genuinely match) offers a full service across the entire spectrum of restructuring and insolvency assignments - in a broad range of sectors. Our Requirements We would now like to recruit a Senior Associate or Managing Associate into our team in London. Our ideal candidate must have at least 5 years of business restructuring experience and hands-on experience of financial restructuring. You can expect to get involved in: Supporting the partners in a lead associate role in connection with both financial restructuring and both contentious and non-contentious insolvency mandates. Working on transactional insolvency mandates, including advising in connection with CVA's, pre-packs and issues arising in connection with trading administrations. Reviewing and advising in relation to LMA documentation and dealing with amendments, side-letters, waivers and variations to existing security packages. Advising the major clearing banks and alternative lenders in connection with distressed work-outs Advising directors in connection with their own obligations in the context of an under-performing business. ?? Working closely with our leveraged finance team to help ensure early engagement and maximise the prospect of a successful restructure. Various Business Development activities, with a significant amount of client contact. Knowledge, skills and experience required You will have: An excellent academic achievement with a minimum 2:1 degree At least five years of restructuring experience gained within a comparable environment and at an appropriate level A clear understanding and working experience of the operation and structure of a leading law firm and the needs of the clients of a top flight team
