Foresight Recruitment Solutions are currently seeking Order pickers to join our client based in the Swinton area.
Our client a leading international distributor are going through an on-going period of growth.
Rate Of Pay GBP7.70/8.21 per hour and Overtime paid after 37.5 hours, there is also a banded pay scale once you have been there 12 weeks and then again after 12 months.
Hours of work are Days/Nights/Afters rotational, Days is Monday to Friday 06:00-14:00, Nights is Sunday to Thursday 22:00-06:00 and Afters is Monday to Friday 14:00-22:00 - occasional Saturday shifts if the business requires.
Order picking with a paper based pick sheet, Pulling warehouse items from the shelves based on a number, size, colour, quantity and quality requirements - this could involve heavy lifting, Ensuring picks are accurate, Packing picks in to the relevant packaging, Completing paperwork, Operating equipment and ensuring safety regulations are followed, Working towards targets, Maintaining high levels of health and safety standards, Performing other general warehousing duties as and when required.
All order picking work is completed on a PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) so candidates must have a PPT licence to be able to fulfil this position, this license must also not be an in-house licence it must be by an accredited body which allows the license to be used on multiple sites.
