Building Services deliver both housing and non-housing repair and refurbishment programmes using multi-disciplinary teams of approx 400 operatives and 50 staff.
The service have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Organisational Development Officer to contribute to the development, management and delivery of organisational development strategies that are directly linked to our objectives and that enable the service to respond to changing business requirements.
The role includes the management of our modern apprenticeship programme, including conducting apprentice reviews, supporting managers in implementing service improvements, designing and delivering development activities identified for in the service.
The skills and experience you must have:
- A relevant Training qualification / demonstrable experience and practical experience of delivering Training Courses, computer literate, excellent communication skills, knowledge of the requirements of quality awards e.g. WLAM/EFQM, IIP, and SQMS.
- Experience in the design and delivery of training events is essential. Demonstrable experience of training a diverse workforce is also expected within customer focussed services.
