Refrigeration Engineer
A new Refrigeration Engineer is needed to join an established service department at a leading Ref & AC business.
The role will be carrying out service, maintenance and repairs to main refrigeration, but also air conditioning systems too (60/40).
The client holds a range of contracts, but any experience of working within food processing / preparation &/or storage sites is a distinct advantage for the business.
Refrigeration Engineers should have knowledge of pack / multi pack systems, large walk in cold/freezer rooms, integral chillers, display refrigeration units and comfort cooling AC (ie splits & vrv's).
Service Engineer candidates will hold -
City & Guilds Level 2 (minimum)
F-Gas Certificate (C&G 2079 or CITB J11)
CSCS card
Valid UK DL
Essential skills and attributes
• Experience of the maintenance of commercial / large commercial refrigeration systems
• The ability to maintain, service, test, fault-find and make repairs to mechanical & electrical components on refrigerations units.
• The ability to work well alone, unsupervised and as part of a team
• Effective communication skills when dealing with colleagues, customers and suppliers
• The post will also involve working in factory environments, working at height, working in confined spaces and manual handling.

Ideally Service Engineers will be based within a 30mile radius of Kings Lynn
Circa GBP34-35K+ with door to door travel time, overtime and on-call rota payment (OTE GBP40K)
