Kind Consultancy is working with a national Financial Services network who are currently seeking a Compliance Officer to join their head office in central London.

Key responsibilities of the Compliance Officer will include:

* Maintaining and delivering Compliance support to member-firms, both reactively and pro-actively

* Contributing to regular Compliance communications on behalf of the business and their dedicated Compliance website

* Maintaining a set of operational Compliance tools

* Supporting the review and monitoring of the Minimum Standards for member firms

* Contributing to a culture of training and development through educational initiatives and supporting the network's training and education tools

* Supporting the growth and sustainability of members and patrons through the promotion of professional standards

* Supporting colleagues in the Compliance team and acting as a Subject Matter Expert on technical Compliance issues

* Continually evaluating and reviewing present and future regulatory challenges for the network and their member firms

* Determining appropriate remedial actions and ensuring they are implemented to maintain and raise Compliance standards

Our ideal candidate for the Compliance Officer opportunity:

* Has demonstrable experience in the interpretation of regulatory requirements for Commercial Finance Brokers and their implementation within business operations

* Has experience of Compliance audits and reviews and of evaluating regulatory requirements

* Has good document and process design skills

* Has a track record of supporting businesses through the Compliance function and has very good FCA Handbook knowledge

* Has a good understanding of the current UK commercial lending market and of Broker distribution channels

* Has well-developed presentation, communication, training and coaching skills

* Has experience of designing, delivering and evaluating training

* Has good knowledge of the implementation and embedding of regulatory requirements through adequate systems and controls

* Good knowledge of Information Technology including competence tracking would be desirable
