Referral Account Executive (External Partnerships)

Salary: GBP22,132 actual per annum

About the role

As a Referral Account Executive, you will play an essential role in supporting the roll out and embedding of Dementia Connect with external partners. As part of our New Deal on Dementia strategy, Dementia Connect is essential to making a real difference to the lives of people with dementia and their family, friends and carers.

You will be responsible for developing external client leads, on boarding and supporting external organisations and the account management of a number of relationships. All of which will contribute towards the success of our Dementia Connect service.

Reporting into the External Development Manager, this role will sit within the External Partnerships and Development team. As with all roles within this team you will be required to work in conjunction with a number of teams across the Society to ensure we are able to maximise all opportunities. Working collaboratively is important to this work stream.

This role is based in Birmingham however there will be for travel across England, Wales and Northern Ireland where required.

About you

You will be a highly enthusiastic, strategic individual with demonstrable experience in excellent account management. As a strong relationship builder, you will hold relationships with external partners as well as internal stakeholders so it is important you can communicate effectively and work collaboratively.

This role is suitable for somebody who has the ability to champion products and services to external partners and who can excel in managing the relationships developed. Excellent negotiation skills will enable somebody to thrive in this position.

It is important you have the ability and willingness to travel independently on behalf of the Society, including occasional overnight stays as required.

You will be target driven, looking for and utilising opportunities to reach our ambitious targets with the overall goal to convert leads into well-established referral relationships. This will contribute to the increase in the number of Dementia Connect referrals.
