McDiarmid Whitmore Ltd are currently working on behalf of a leading facilities management contractor seeking to appoint a Bid Support Executive to support the administrative and creative bid design process.
The role is that of a Graphic Designer / Sales Support Executive (70/30 split) working on opportunities within the pipeline and contributing to the business' growth strategy.
Key responsibilities:
* Create professional, visually engaging designs in collaboration with the sales and marketing teams
* Providing support to the sales team ensuring the work leaving the department is of a consistently high standard, accurate and on time
* Supporting the production aspects of the bid process including processing email notifications, completing pre-qualification documents and any administrative tasks to support the tenders
* Provide a consultative approach to document design and production
* Build effective relationships with all internal stakeholders, operational colleagues and clients alike
Required Skills
* A detailed knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite(including InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop) as well as Microsoft Office Software
* A passion for design and the ability to support a wide range of creative requirements
* An understanding of layout and typography
* Experience of working in a bids or projects environment
