Fantastic Marketing and Communications opportunity has arisen at a busy Maidstone office. Looking for someone to come and manage thier marketing internally and externally.

Client Details

My client are a fantastic well known organisation based in the heart of Maidstone.

Description

  • Work alongside the Communications and Marketing Director (C&MD), as well as with the Annual Marketing & Communications Plan
  • Manage specific targeted marketing campaigns to generate leads for the Sales Team
  • Work with internal teams to launch new services and plan future promotional activity
  • Day to day management of proactive and reactive communications across internal and external stakeholder groups
  • Management of our marketing agency, designer and print supplier
  • Produce content, including copywriting, as required

Profile

An experienced Marketing Communications professional with 8 years' experience

Professional experience skills and knowledge

Essential

  • Educated to degree level in a relevant subject
  • At least 3 years' experience of marketing
  • At least 3 years' PR experience of PR work with proven experience of developing campaigns and utilising existing customer experiences to generate PR related stories
  • Results orientated
  • An excellent up to date knowledge and understanding of media, including social media
  • An ability to work independently and take decisions - but know when to seek guidance - and deliver to deadlines
  • Experience of managing budgets and maximising their effectiveness
  • Proven skills in the following areas:
  • Communication and literacy, including writing creative and engaging copy, proof-reading and correcting content, presentation and public speaking skills
  • An understanding of the briefing and design process, demonstrated by the production of marketing campaigns, including promotional materials
  • Experience of briefing and managing agencies
  • An understanding of filming events
  • Print management; copy-checking
  • Personal organisation and time management: an ability to prioritise
  • Flexibly, to work to tight deadlines; to complete tasks
