Wilson Stuart School has been awarded Independent Specialist Provision status for its educational programmes for young adults aged 19-25 years.
The Wilson Stuart UCB Partnership Trust (WSUCBPT) study programmes are designed to enable students to access work placements, volunteering roles and participate in their community.
We have the following exciting opportunity:
PMLD Teacher MPS 1-6 + SEN Allowance dependent on experience
We are looking for a committed and outstanding PMLD teacher to be part of our team to plan, develop and implement individual curriculum programmes for students with profound and multiple learning difficulties. You will have responsibility for a tutor group. You will be expected to provide a sensory programme, integrating the physical, academic, social and emotional needs of individual students. The ability to teach basic Maths and English is a requirement and a further education background is desirable but not essential.
Education Impact is committed to safeguarding children and safer recruitment procedures.
All the above posts are covered by Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) and therefore the ability to speak fluent and spoken English is an essential requirement for these roles. Please note Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check to be paid by the successful candidate (approx. £57).
Please note contracts of employment will be with Education Impact Academy Trust or Wilson Stuart UCB Partnership Trust not Birmingham City Council.
