Education Impact Academy Trust is a newly created MAT incorporating Wilson Stuart School and sponsoring 2 additional high needs schools through the academisation process.  Wilson Stuart School is an Ofsted designated outstanding all age (2 – 25 years) Special School which provides very high quality education for 232 pupils and young people who have physical disabilities, and/or complex medical conditions. Wilson Stuart School have achieved an Outstanding grade in their last 6 Ofsted inspections and in their last 3 inspections, the latest of which was March 2019, they were graded as outstanding in every single aspect of the inspection.  

We recognise the importance of teamwork and this is evident through all aspects of the work we do. Our students are delightful, work hard and are keen to learn and the school is a very happy and positive working environment. We have the following exciting opportunity:

Grade 2 Teaching Assistants (Maternity Cover/Full & Part-time posts available)

Actual Salary £14,414 to £15,711 (includes SEN allowance) dependent on years’ service based on 32 ½ hours per week Term Time Only, pro rated for part time staff

The post includes classroom support, mentoring, pastoral care and assisting with the physical care of pupils as and when required. You should have excellent communication and written skills with high expectations of learning and behaviour and a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification.
