30 hours per week (4 days) Fixed Term until 30th March 2020 (with a review and possible extension)

What you'll be doing 
You’ll be working within our Sheltered Housing Schemes throughout BANES and Bristol ensuring that our personal alarm systems are tested regularly and kept in working order to ensure that our sheltered housing customers are safe.
 
You will respond to any faults or failures in any of the alarm systems and deploy temporary units when needed.
 
You’ll be visiting different types of premises and be working with alarm systems which are in different locations which will sometimes be difficult to access.
 
More about you 
You’ll have a passion for working with older people and have great people skills. You’ll receive full training on our systems, however familiarity with the Tunstall and Tyntec systems used in sheltered social housing would be an advantage.
 
An understanding of working with older people in the community is a key skill you’ll already have, as well as the ability to work on your own initiative and great record keeping.
 
At the same time you will demonstrate resilience and the desire to work in an interesting environment where no day is ever the same!
 
A full driving license and the ability to travel around the BANES and Bristol area is essential.
 
An enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check is required for this role and we will help you to apply for this when you start.
 
When and where you'll be doing it 
You will be able to work flexibly, 30 hours a week between Monday and Friday, based on our customers’ needs.  You will be responsible for organizing your own workload and setting your diary appointments.
 
You’ll be based in Bath and North East Somerset.
