Trainer Facilitator - Animal Care

Salary: £20,706 - £24,019 + Excellent Benefits

Contract Type: Full Time, 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year, permanent contract

We are currently recruiting for a Trainer Facilitator – Animal Care to join the Animal Management and Land Based team here at South Devon College. The post holder will instruct and facilitate learning for students enrolled on a range of full time and part time Animal Care programmes from Level 1 to Level 3 Animal Care Apprenticeship Standards at Level 2 and Level 3 and short commercial courses. 

You will work closely with the Workplace Co-ordinator, Programme Co-ordinator, lecturers and employers to support timely achievement for animal care learners and apprentices.

The successful candidate will need to hold relevant training and/or qualifications in appropriate subject areas, be able to provide evidence of continued professional and personal development and if not already held, to attain a teaching qualification within the college’s specified timescale. You will have commercial experience in Animal care or related environments, excellent time management and the ability to work unsupervised.
