Position Description

Chubb is now seeking a talented, stand-alone Commercial Sales Consultant who has good technical knowledge of Fire Detection and Alarm Systems to drive forward new business within the field of Fire Protection, Detection and Suppression Systems and also Security, working out of our South Coast Branch, covering a geographical area including Hampshire, Dorset West Sussex.

The objective of this role is to prospect and generate new business sales from target accounts, customers and market segments to further develop Chubbs Fire Installation client base. The role will entail:

Identifying and securing the required new business in order to achieve and exceed agreed sales targets - this business will be self-generated through a mix of cold calling, site visits, networking and pre-arranged appointments
Responding and tracking effectively all allocated sales leads and prospects
Providing and maintaining accurate forecasts, prospects lists / quote bank and sales status reports as required
Working closely with customers, by demonstrating a technical consultative sales style in order to maintain long term relationships, ensure effective customer service and generate ongoing sales revenue

Required Experience

We are seeking a proven Commercial Sales Consultant with strong track record of sales success within the Fire Installation sector as well as possessing a level of understanding of current Fire Legislation and Standards along with the various types of systems available and in use within the Fire sector and their specific applications

You will already have worked closely with and sold into the M E, Main Contractor and End User marketplace and therefore have experience of selling products at Installation stage. You will be well organised, self-motivated, and professional and possess a full Driving Licence.

Due to the territory of the vacancy we are seeking candidates based in Fareham, Southampton, Andover, Basingstoke, Salisbury, Chichester, Worthing or anywhere else within a commutable distance of the territory covered by our South Coast branch.
