This role will involve travel across the UK but mainly around Greater London, Birmingham and Manchester so being based in one of these areas will be ideal. Our head office is in Hampshire so travel to this site will be quite frequent.

How will you support us?

This role is working with Saint-Gobain Ecophon where you will be responsible for the role is to provide technical and installation support to Ecophon distributor and contractor customers and on projects within UK and Republic of Ireland to achieve company objectives for market share.

In the role as a Technical Sales Support Manager you will;

  • Provide onsite and remote technical and installation support to Ecophon customers to ensure that they are confident in the specification and installation of our products and systems.
  • Work in conjunction with the sales and internal customer support teams to identify and deliver technical and installation training to customers. Identify training outcomes and requirements and create effective training programs to meet these. Ensure customers receive a positive and high quality training experience that is delivered in a safe and professional way in line with Ecophon brand values.
  • Work in conjunction with the sales and internal customer support teams to resolve customer complaints regarding product performance and quality. Ensuring efficient and effective resolution to ensure we deliver highest level of customer support whilst minimising the financial and brand impact on the business.
  • Work with management teams to identify, develop and deliver technical and installation training programs that support the development of the capability of the Ecophon team. This will include new starter training and ongoing capability training particularly when new products and systems are introduced.

In order to be successful in this role, you must have;

  • Extensive onsite construction/building experience - ideally through working in installation of internal fit outs, ceilings or similar.
  • Experience in a sales or customer support role
  • Experience as a contractor, builder, installer etc. to provide the technical knowledge required for this role.
  • Willingness to travel extensively across the UK and some international travel to Sweden may be required
  • IT literate with good knowledge of MS Office and ideally usage of CRM systems.
