Position Description

Secure Monitoring Centres are currently recruiting for an experienced IT Support Engineer for a key role within our IT function. With substantial experience 1st-3rd line Support experience you will assist the Technical Manager in maintaining business IT systems and delivering the IT strategy coupled with providing support maintenance operation of all network, software and hardware systems currently utilised within the business.
Ensuring the IT infrastructure is safe and secure working towards ISO27001 certification adhering to Group and local security systems, policy and procedure you will be proactive and identify opportunities to improve the IT products and services provided to end users, customers and the business.

Required Experience

Hands on support Microsoft Windows server, desktop and Linux operating systems
Hands on support Networking administration DHCP, Routers, Hubs, Telephony ISDN. PSTN, LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, Encryption VPN, SIP
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusion
Microsoft hyper V
Knowledge of SANs, databases administration and application support
