Position DescriptionDue to continued increase in workload, new contract wins and building on our existing client base, here at Chubb Systems we're looking to add a Service Engineer to our team in Blackburn. Key to this Engineer opportunity in Blackburn is the ability to provide an unrivalled service to all our clients and repair, maintain and service systems. The majority of this role is within the North West and as such this would suit potential candidates living in Blackburn, Manchester, Liverpool, Wigan, Preston, Bury, Burnley, Salford
Responsibilities
To ensure that if the installed system differs from the specification that the relevant documentation is complete and it is brought to the attention of the relevant Supervisor.
When required commissioning of systems in accordance with the relevant standards and Codes of Practice;
To ensure that all working areas on site are left in a clean and tidy state;
To ensure that the client is satisfied in all aspects of the installation, maintenance and
service visits prior to leaving site, and to project a high level of Quality Customer
Service at all times;
To ensure that relevant documentation is fully completed in an accurate and timely manner, this includes timesheets, work reports, service reports and expense claims;
To ensure that all Company property is used and maintained in the proper manner,
including special tools, ladders and Company vehicle where appropriate;
To be available for standby and call out rota as required within the Division.
To adhere to all company policies, procedures regulations.
To conduct themselves in a professional manner at all times.
Ensure adherence to all Company Policies and Procedures.
To be fully conversant and compliant with all Environmental Health and Safety procedures.
Complete quarterly ethics module as advised by BPO
Good basic education and ideally a relevant qualification in the electrical/ Electronic industry. Alternatively able to demonstrate in depth knowledge through assessment. Field Service Experience. Good standard of IT skills. (Computer Literate). Good level of Customer Service experience. IPAF, ECS, CSCS, Safety Passport holder or similar would be beneficial. Full UK driving licence Able to demonstrate good technical knowledge in at least two of the following disciplines: CCTV, Intruder, Access Control Perimeter systems, Networking
