We are currently recruiting for a Temp to Perm Forklift Operative for a large blue chip company based in Peterborough. Working in the stores, Ambitions need determined people who are able to demonstrate passion and commitment for our clients business.
WORK DUTIES
Be fully conversant with Excel, Email, Intranet, Merlin
Receiving raw materials into the factory whilst completing all relevant documentation
Ensuring correct storage of raw materials and finished goods to preserve materials/product integrity and identification
Ensure correct stock are available
Ensure 'Clean as you go' procedures are followed
Carry out weekly stock checks
Pallet Quality and Quantity control
Understand the procedure behind cold store breakdowns
Carry out safety checks on all equipment
Fully understand sscc labelling
Operate Forklift trucks in a safe manner
Fully comply with the company behaviour and attitudes
PERSON SPECIFICATION
Good level of education
Relevant experience within a stores environment
Trained on Counterbalance and Reach trucks
Excellent communication skills
Logical approach to problem solving
Self-motivated, organised and shows initiative
Willingness to embrace and develop ideas
Able to work in a cold environement

Shifts vary alternate between Days and Nights, Monday to Friday
