One of our brands Meridian Foods ltd has an opportunity for a Quality Assurance Team Leader to join them in Wrexham. You will support production in regard to understanding, implementing and maintaining good manufacturing practices in both sites in accordance with the company procedures and BRC standards.

In the role you will assist in maintaining a programme of quality assurance activity by ensuring that products manufactured and supplied by the company are safe, authentic, legal and meet or exceed customer expectations. Ensuring all products are produced to agreed specification, within company HACCP & BRC systems, you will provide guidance and direction to a group of Quality Assurance Technicians.

With extensive experience and/or knowledge of food safety standards and a Basic Food Hygiene, Level 3 HACCP & Internal Auditing qualification, you will have excellent communication skills and a strong eye for detail. Holding a Food Science or Technology qualification, or with experience in a similar role within a food manufacturing environment, you will have a minimum of two years supervisory or management experience and hold a full UK Driving Licence.

Hours of work – Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:00pm
