Charity Fundraiser - 22.5 hrs pw, flexible, remote working.

A part-time Grants and Trusts Fundraiser is being recruited to help secure valuable income for St. Leonard's Hospice in York. The role is part-time (22.5 hrs pw) with the potential to work flexibly and remotely.

This is an ideal role for an experienced marketer, senior sales person or administrator who now wants to work flexibly in the charity sector. The charity welcomes applications from candidates aged over 50.

GBP12,653 - GBP14,256 per annum

About You

You will be the primary contact for Grant Providers with the aim of securing Grants and Trusts income for all areas of the Hospice. In line with wider Hospice plans, you will research and submit comprehensive and high quality Grants & Trusts applications.

You will be a confident communicator who will be able to engage with Hospice staff at all levels to understand the need for items which require funding. The role requires you to effectively communicate with all Heads of Department to ensure accurate, up to date information is passed on in respect of each Grants & Trusts application.

Good IT Skills are required - Microsoft Office Applications (i.e. Word, Excel, Power point) with, ideally, a knowledge of fundraising databases or similar.

Job Summary

1. To write Grants & Trusts applications which demonstrate a clear link between the outcomes of the funder and alignment with the activities of St Leonard's Hospice.

2. To develop a portfolio of cases for support of St Leonard's Hospice.

3. To maximise income through targeted Grant and Trust applications.

4. To maintain a prospect research list.

5. To deliver agreed income targets through the development and growth of income from Grants, Charitable Trusts and Foundations.

Hours: This is a part time 22.5 hours a week post, with the ability to work flexibly and remotely.
