Administrator - Farming Connect ICT Project
Builth Wells, Powys
£20,000 - £22,000 per annum DOE & Skills

Lantra is a successful commercially focused charity, providing high quality training and qualification products for skills and workforce development in land-based industries. With a staff of over ninety people and a turnover of £7m, we up-skill more than 85,000 people each year and work with businesses and other stakeholders to create innovative skills solutions.

Farming Connect is a funding programme supported through Welsh Government Rural Communities-Rural Development Programme 2019 - 2022. As part of this, we are delivering the Farming Connect ICT project, which provides farmers with the IT training they need to thrive in todays’ digital age.

We’re now looking for an Administrator to join us on a fixed-term contract until 31st December 2021 and support the delivery of the project.

If you have a great eye for detail and strong administration skills, this is a brilliant opportunity to take on a varied contract and support the success of an exciting initiative.

As an Administrator, you’ll complete a range of administrative and data entry tasks to support the delivery of the Farming Connect ICT project.

Your duties will include:

- Booking travel and accommodation for colleagues
- Taking minutes at meetings
- Helping the Programme Co-ordinator with the monthly claims process
- Maintaining and developing efficient filing systems
- Completing data entry tasks

To be considered, you’ll need administration experience, including diary control, booking meetings, emailing and data entry.

Organised and proactive, as an Administrator, you will also need excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a customer focused approach and a close attention to detail.

Fluency in Welsh, in addition to English, would be beneficial. Minute-taking experience would also be an advantage. A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle (due to our rural location) would be equally desirable.

The closing date for applications is the 5th July 2019.
