Security Receptionist
Maidstone, ME15 6AT
GBP8.40 per hour
Cordant Security are currently looking for a Security Receptionist to be based in the Maidstone (ME15 6AT) area. Interested candidates must have a valid, frontline Door Supervisor license.
Responsibilities of the Security Receptionist:
* Acting as the main point of contact for colleagues, clients, contractors and other visitors to the building
* Delivering excellent customer service at all times
* Operating and managing the main switchboard and distributing calls
* Maintaining security by following procedures, monitoring sign in/out book and issuing visitor badges
* Distributing and organising staff security passes
* Managing schedules for meetings and conference rooms
* Distributing office post and manage courier/post pickups and drop offs
* Assisting with fire drills and fire alarm tests
* Liaising with building contractors and facilities manager to resolve building issues
* Administration for visiting colleagues
* Setting up meeting rooms with hot and cold beverages
* Ensuring the reception area is clean and tidy at all times
Requirements of the Security Receptionist:
* Fully comprehensive 5 year work/education history
* Clear communication & administration skills
* Excellent customer service skills
* Security systems knowledge & telephone/switchboard skills
* Minimum of 1 year experience working directly with customers; preferably in a reception service
* Excellent computer skills
* SIA License in Door Supervision is essential
Incentives for the Security Receptionist:
* Working 25 hours per week, Monday - Friday days. Hours may vary
