We are looking for someone with a passion for nature and a flair for communicating to join our team in the south west.
Communications Officer
Location: Exeter
Salary starting at: GBP19,602 to GBP21,236 per annum
Hours: Full time
Contract: Maternity Cover
The sort of person we are after will be enthusiastic about telling amazing stories through our lively Facebook and Twitter accounts to make sure the public know how the RSPB is giving nature a home and how they can help too.
You will also be great at writing copy for press releases and features that celebrates the West Country's wonderful wildlife. You'll also be able to work on your own initiative and be brimful of creative ideas about how we can connect people to nature through media in all it's forms!
This role is covered by the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act. You will be asked to declare unspent convictions and cautions at offer of employment stage.
