Our Client, a local authority based in the North Cheshire area, are looking for a Principle Employment Relations Advisor to join them for an 11 month contract. This role pays an hourly rate of up to GBP20 per hour.
Your responsibilities will include managing a varied and busy case load and case management through to a conclusion including advising and supporting at Hearings and Appeal Hearings. whilst also coaching and advising managers on all ER issues and organisational change. You will review both long term and short-term sickness cases including Occupational Health/Ill Health retirement and will be required to provide guidance and support on all investigatory processes along with providing support to managers and schools including restructures and redeployment.
You will work alongside Employment Relations Advisors, Princple Advisors and will report to the Employment Relations Service Manager.
We are looking for someone with experience in HR and ER ideally within a local authority setting.
