Pathfinders Care is a modern care facility that is well equipped and caters for people of working age with life limiting physical conditions requiring complex medical/respiratory care or rehabilitation services.
We are currently looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager with experience in brand development who wants to have a real impact on the transformation of a complex needs care home.

Job description for the Marketing and Communications Manager

As the Marketing and Communications Manager, working with the senior team, you will:
  • Provide comprehensive strategic and operational support
  • Devise and implement a fully integrated, multi-faceted marketing and communications strategy
  • Work to grow both our reputation and income
  • Translate complex messages about our work and activity into clear and compelling messages for a range of stakeholders
  • Lead the production of new and engaging content
  • Maintain and develop content for our website and social media channels, increasing our visibility
  • Lead the annual calendar of events and networking to secure engagement with target audiences
  • Support the HR Manager to engage the employees via various methods of communication

Requirements for the Marketing and Communications Manager

  • Experience of working in a communications or PR role developing marketing and communications strategies
  • A degree in communications or marketing discipline, or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience in conducting market research and analysis
  • Able to implement actionable insights that meet business objectives
  • Knowledge of the health and care sectors, how they operate and the challenges they face
  • Organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to hit deadlines
  • Ability to devise, manage and develop content captivating a range of audiences
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills with outstanding verbal and visual presentation skills
