Lecturer Nurse Cadets / Health & Social Care

Salary: up to GBP35,476 dependent upon skills, qualifications and experience

Our Nurse Cadets programme is run in partnership with the NHS and is specifically designed for those who would like to pursue a career in the NHS (specifically in adult nursing).
The cadet scheme has run successfully for 5 years and 100% of learners move onto a university course.

You will be expected to participate in coordinating, delivering and assessing a level 3 qualification, supporting our students to successfully transition into nursing practice.
As such we are looking for an individual who has a strong underpinning knowledge of a wide range of evidence based practice and who can readily support students to develop key skills to enable them to provide effective nursing care.

You will additionally be expected to contribute to the design, delivery and assessment of taught content across the health and social care pathway.
We therefore are looking for a highly organised individual who can demonstrate creativity in their approach to designing learning activities.

Applicants must hold current registration with the NMC as a Registered Nurse.

They must be able to demonstrate on-going personal and professional development and appropriate study around evidence based practice.

You must be able to demonstrate relevant and current experience of supporting students learning, this is usually through completion of a mentorship training programme.
